Lavastar were approached by Wates and Quintain to disguise a 52 cabin site office at a new development in Wembley Park. The aim not only was to disguise the site office from the public eye but to present to the public a CGI of what the new development would look like.
Lavastar had to ensure that our building wraps displayed the high quality graphic clearly when blown up, is fire-rated and also allowed some light to enter the offices where people worked.
Lavastar worked closely with both Quintain and Wates throughout the project to ensure the printed cabin wrap was produced to a high quality and installed in a safe manor. Along with producing the engineer drawings Lavastar also took on the artworking element of the project to help hit the deadlines set out.
The banner was installed onto a bespoke key clamp frame system which we bolted and sealed direct to the cabin facade. We then tensioned the banner by fixing it back to a reinforced wire which resulted in a drum skin like finish. In one area we had to work the wrap around double doors and filled the graphic void with a printed vinyl wrap direct to the doors.
