Building Wraps

Building wraps are large digital banners covering either an entire building, a face, or just part of a building. Printed building wraps hide a project from the public with eye-grabbing graphics. There are three main types of building wraps;

  • Wire frame systems
  • Extended scaffolding systems
  • Vinyl building wraps.

Building wraps are used to cover up buildings with large format digital printing. They are a creative way to cover up an unappealing building facade. A building wrap can be used as a powerful form of outdoor advertising. The addition of a banner allows an entire building to be covered while broadcasting a message – taking up much more of the passer-by’s view compared to printed hoarding for example.

Building wrap installation is carried out in full, helping you achieve the perfect house wrap from survey to project completion. For help in installing a building wrap, don’t hesitate to get in touch for further information.

An extra large outdoor screen, building wraps are digitally printed to bespoke specifications. These wraps can be attached to structures such as scaffolding to hide work sites. The wrapping technology is commonly seen in big cities or in sensitive locations. In essence, it can give a taster of what the building will look like once the project is complete.

Building wraps are not rigid banners as they aren’t manufactured from solid materials. The vast majority of wraps are made from a PVC mesh which is lighter and therefore less susceptible to the impact of the wind. These building wraps are used in a wide range of industries and are commonly seen around locations such as shopping centres.

What Are The Different Types Of Building & Scaffold Wraps?

The three main types of building wraps are;

• Wire Frame System
• Extended Scaffolding System
• Vinyl Building Wrap System

Each house wrap type is suitable for different purposes, although each are reliable and high quality. We are happy to advise which type is best suited for your project. More information on each building wrap can be found in the following drop downs.

What Is A Wire Frame System Building Wrap?

A wire frame system building wrap is where a large format banner covers a section of a building where there is no scaffold to attach to. Wire frame building wraps work by attaching anchor points to a structure with a tensioned wire.

What Is An Extended Scaffolding System Building Wrap?

An extended scaffolding system building wrap is where a framework is built onto a scaffold with supporting beams. Adding a façade banner wrap allows a one-piece large format banner to be stretched across the outside of the scaffold. These scaffolding wraps will then hide the structure beneath.

What Are Vinyl System Building Wraps?

Vinyl system building wraps are used on large windowed areas to add graphics. Vinyl stickers can be applied to each window to piece together and make a huge graphic. This can also be more of a long-term building wrap used to decorate the building.
Our in-house marketing and design team draws on over 25 years’ worth of experience and guarantees to deliver a product which catches the eye of every passer by.

Vinyl Building Wraps

Vinyl building wraps, also known as PVC building wraps, are very versatile and economical. Common within construction, this type of building wrap can help reduce noise levels and the escape of dust. If you’re looking for a wrap which doesn’t require planning permission, opt for a black building wrap rather than on which is branded.

Options such as black building wraps save an average of eight weeks of waiting for local council approval. These building wraps save time and reduce waiting for your site to be properly presented and protected.

Building Wrap Advertising

Printed building wraps are an effective form of advertisement as they are highly visible and allow you to directly communicate with potential customers with ease. Building wrap graphics can improve the presentation of sites as well as providing a promotional platform.

What Are Scaffold Wraps And Banners?

A scaffold wraps is a large digitally printed material which incorporated graphics and designs for advertising. These building wraps are most commonly used as an effective marketing tool in large cities. They are usually fitted by fixing the banner to scaffolding using additional framework.

We look to keep scaffold banner wrap costs down as well as ensuring that all of our scaffolding banners are printed on a high pass rate. This printing method uses more ink but eliminates the risk of any banding. All of our banners are also finished with reinforced eyelets and hems so they can withstand even the strongest of winds.

What Are The Benefits Of Wrapping Your Scaffolding On Site?

Scaffolding advertising wraps have benefits far beyond generating sales for the companies using them to advertise their products. Wrapping a scaffolding with a printed advert wrap will also:

• Reduce noise and dust pollution coming from within the site
• Reduce the visual impact the site has on passers-by and local residents
• Provide protection from the elements for any exposed areas behind the banner
• Printed scaffolding wraps provide privacy and build excitement for what’s to be come
