Wayfinding Signage Scheme For New Development

Lavastar are incredibly proud of our longstanding relationship with Notting Hill Genesis and continue this with our installation of wayfinding signage at the development Royal Albert Wharf. This project was a collaboration of wayfinding solutions enhancing the residents experience with a constant placemaking approach. Our brief was to deliver a wide range of vibrant signage solutions that would encourage people coming in on the Gallions Reach DLR to the dock area and provide clear branding and wayfinding along the way.

Full spectrum of signage solutions delivered survey to install

Our project management team worked alongside the client and creative agency who produced the graphics all the way from initial site survey to completed install which enabled us to help maximise on signage opportunities available at the Royal Albert Wharf site. Products provided by Lavastar included planter & pillar wraps, lamppost directional banners, monolith signage, street vinyls and tri-sided directional signage.

One of the biggest challenges our team overcome was the installation of 10 giant concrete pillar high level vinyl wrap arounds using WW100 vinyl. This specific product must be installed when moisture levels on the surface are at a minimum and due to the poor weather around the time we had to navigate the install over multiple visits to avoid vinyl application failure.
