Your Exhibition Signage Shouldn’t Cost The Earth

Whenever you’re considering the design and development of exhibition signage and graphic materials, it’s obviously essential to maximise their immediate impact at the event itself.  However, it’s also important to think about how to minimise their long term effect on the environment.

Clearly the materials must attract the attention of their target audience, but they must also reflect a growing awareness of ecological issues too.

Exhibition Signage Should Make A Statement About How Your Organisation Sees The Future.

Obviously your first priority will always be to make the most of your marketing investment by designing event and exhibition signage and graphics that sets your stands apart from others in the auditorium.

But think about how the materials may be seen in the long term.

Unfortunately, the one-off nature of exhibitions often means that signage and graphic materials produced for them are discarded once they end.

That’s why it’s important to produce exhibition signage from sustainable materials and design them to be stored and reused, whenever possible.

Stands That Make An Impact At The Exhibition Don’t Need To Impact On The Environment.

A custom made stand can utilise illumination and additional elements such as light boxes, flat screen TVs and interactive touch-screen displays to amplify the impact of your exhibition signage and graphics.

These can be enhanced by a Tension Fabric System (TFS) that utilises the area above your exhibition stand to deliver a branded message that will attract attendees’ attention, together with printed floor decals that reinforce your messages as people move around your stand.

Able to turn any wall into an advertising opportunity, polycril wall wraps can cover an area of up to five metres wide in one seamless display with no show through.  Printed with UV ink, they’re not only more vibrant than normal posters, they’re also non PVC and 100% recyclable.

An alternative option is to use a modular display system.

These use standard sized interlocking components to act as a framework on which personalised, printed graphic materials can be displayed.

A highly cost-effective and infinitely reusable option, a modular system can be installed and dismantled with the minimum of fuss and easily reconfigured to fit a different space at a different venue.

The Most Effective Approach To Exhibition Signage Must Consider The Materials Used.

A key consideration for the Lavastar team is how to minimise our carbon footprint through such things as the use of eco-friendly banners printed with water based rather than solvent based inks, together with the use of FSC certified timber and fully recyclable FSC eco boards in the construction of our custom made exhibition stands.

We also consider how the materials might be reused in the future.

By using modular systems with standardised fixings we can assemble, disassemble and reassemble the stands in different locations, updating the graphic imagery with interchangeable panels and sections.

Even the low powered LED lighting we use is chosen to be eco-friendly.

We Consider Every Aspect Of How Exhibition Signage Will Be Sited, Seen And Used Again.
